Morrow Cardboard Boat Regatta 2022 – On Saturday, August 20th, 2022 1st National Bank sponsored The Little Miami Area Chamber of Commerce’s 7th Annual Little Miami Cardboard Boat Regatta. The event is held at Oeder’s Lake off US 22-3 in Morrow, Ohio.
The Morrow Cardboard Boat Regatta is a family-friendly outdoor event. Businesses and community members construct boats from cardboard, duct tape, and paint to compete in events on the lake. There are also food trucks, a bounce house, tractor rides, and booths handing out free items for the kids attending.
This year there were approximately 26 boats that competed including 1st National Bank! Our Loveland banking center team built a beautiful Pokémon boat to take into the water. Our boat was the first back on the dock. Unfortunately, because we flipped immediately, our boat did look good!
We want to congratulate everyone on a great event this year. 1st National Bank would also like to thank the Oeder family for donating the use of their property to The Little Miami Area Chamber of Commerce for the event. 1st National Bank is proud to support our community and we cherish the time we get to spend with our community members.
